Guidance on approaching a trusted third party when a job is out of scope—Capslock can refer out.

Our Boundaries

Support Limitations

For the protection of both seniors and our technicians, there are a few things we will not do on a senior's behalf.

  • Handling a credit card or purchasing anything online on behalf of a senior.
  • Any device maintenance that involves the deletion of data.
  • Virus removal.
  • Working with or on any device or data that involves illegal activity or explicit material (at Capslock's discretion).

Confidentiality & Disclosure

Your information stays private.

During these services Capslock may be exposed to client information and data. We will keep confidential—both during the term and after the termination or expiration of our services—any trade secrets, data, information, or intellectual property that the client, or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, provides or to which Capslock is granted access.

Please note: Capslock is legally required to report any data containing child pornography or abuse of any kind to the appropriate authorities.

Program Packages

Two Ways to Partner With Capslock

Whether your organization wants to manage bookings or have us handle everything directly, we have a package that fits.

Package 1

Building-Provided Care

Residential I.T. Services managed by the organization.

For buildings or organizations that wish to offer Residential I.T. Services to their residents or members. You book the appointments and may provide the service for free or resell it.

Booking: Handled directly by your organization on site. Our technician arrives at the scheduled block and receives the day's schedule. Residents can visit a prepared room (minimum 20 min) or we can do apartment visits (recommended 30 min–1 hour).

Billing: Capslock bills your organization monthly. The full block is billed even if not all time is booked. If your I.T. setup allows, our technician can also help staff with questions during unbooked time.

Package 2

Client-Managed Care

Residential I.T. Services managed by Capslock.

For buildings or organizations that want Capslock to provide Residential I.T. Services to their clients independently, with minimal administrative overhead on your side.

Booking: Your residents book directly with Capslock by phone or online. Like Package 1, bookings take place in a recurring weekly block. Capslock reserves the right to postpone bookings to the following week if fewer than two total hours are scheduled. Space can still be provided on site, though this package aligns best with apartment visits.

Billing: Capslock charges your clients directly—either at registration or during the appointment.
